Bungsu in the communal corridor of his longhouse, Temburong, Brunei

Dried reeds for weaving on the floor of an Iban longhouse

An Iban lady sits at the end of the longhouse corridor next to bundles of dried reeds

150 people in 14 families share the same roof and corridor outside their front door. When there is a marriage the building is extended.

An Iban lady stands in her kitchen, she cooks on an open fire through the door to her right

The living room is decorated with images of Western 80’s pop stars, Bollywood stars and the Sultan of Brunei with his wife. The tinsel is left from celebrating Gawai Dayak.
